It has been a turbulent start to the season for Birmingham City, who have now lost their last three games in the Sky Bet Championship after a defeat to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night.

Blues started the season off in impressive style, winning 1-0 at Brentford before holding Bristol City to a 1-1 draw at St. Andrew's, but since then, they have won just three of their next eight league games.

It was always going to be a big ask for Clotet to take Birmingham anywhere near a promotion spot this season, but before the season, the fans' sole aim would have been for Blues to have a stable season on and off the pitch.

The board have made some eye-opening  decisions at St. Andrew's over the last few years, and Blues fans have never really seen eye to eye with the club's current hierarchy, including CEO Ren Xuandong and director Edward Zheng Gannan.

After his relationship with the board became fractious, Garry Monk was sacked by the club in the summer, despite leading Blues to within touching distance of the play-off spots before being hit with a nine-point deduction last term.

Zheng has recently been involved in a spat with a fan on Twitter as well, which very much sums up the complete divide between fans and the board at present.

Birmingham fan writer 'almajir' has recently posted a blog, highlighting the need for change at St. Andrew's, and in particular, replacing CEO Xuandong.

Here, we take a look at what Blues fans have said about this latest piece...
