Swansea City have started this season well in the Sky Bet Championship under Graham Potter.

The young, former Ostersunds coach has come in and given them a new lease of life by the looks of things with an approach that is a throwback to their best days.

Indeed, he's got them playing some attractive, possession-based, attacking football this season and that is the style that Swans fans became accustomed too.

In the final couple of years in the Premier League, though, they lost their way and stopped playing such a game whilst decisions made by those running the club gradually became more and more confusing.

Certainly, that was the case with our latest FLW Rewind subject - the appointment of Bob Bradley:

The American manager was appointed in 2016 as the Swans looked for something new after Francesco Guidolin.

The reaction, though, was not particularly positive and the decision seemed to mark the beginning of the end for the Swans who'd drop just over a year later after similar mistakes were made.

Let's take a look at the reaction to the news back then:

Clearly, the Swans were going through a tough period at the time and many fans were concerned by the appointment and what it might mean for the future.

Wind forward to this summer, though, and it looks as though they are starting to get back on track and go back to their roots.

As mentioned, in Potter they have a manager who approaches the game how Swansea have and so, after a few years of mistakes and errors, perhaps they are back on the right path.
