West Brom manager Darren Moore will be a relieved man this morning, as he adsorbs the news that loan midfielder Harvey Barnes will stay-on loan at the Hawthorns, unless there is an injury crisis at parent club Leicester City.

Foxes manager Claude Puel confirmed the news in the Leicester Mercury and though nothing is guaranteed, the fact that there is a chance Barnes will stay at the Baggies until the end of the season, will be a massive boost as they head into the second half of the season.

So how big a relief is it that Barnes is likely to see the season out at West Brom?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Fantastic news for West Brom.

If they lose Harvey Barnes, I think they lose the race for promotion.

He holds the key to them going up or staying down, that is how influential he is and has been so far this season for Darren Moore’s side.

With him continuing at the Hawthorns, they have every chance of going up now.

George Harbey

It’s the best news of the season so far for West Brom.

Barnes has been sensational since his move from the King Power, and has scored goals and produced them for fun.

It’s a massive relief for Darren Moore, who has now saved the club a lot of money due to not wanting Bradley Dack anymore!

Gary Hutchinson

Huge, huge relief.

Bigger than any other news they could get this winter.

Barnes is such a talented player, Leicester are missing a trick with him but as he’s playing for the Baggies, he’s developing for them.

They can’t afford to lose him.
