A major factor in West Brom's impressive start to the season, that sees them sitting in third place after nine rounds of matches, has been the form of young Leicester City loanee, midfielder Harvey Barnes.

Barnes, 20, has contributed three goals and two assists so far this season and has become a key component for the free-scoring Albion and though Leicester have the option to recall the player for the time being he is a Baggies man.

How big a boost is Barnes staying at West Brom for the club given Demarai Gray's injury is not as bad as first feared at Leicester, then?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

If it was permanent, it would be massive.

Harvey Barnes is a massive talent, he’s exciting, energetic and has an eye for special goals and passes.

In the Championship, there’s few as good. What a big boost this is.

Jay Taylor

It’s a huge boost.

Harvey Barnes had been one of West Brom’s better players in the earlier part of the season.

He has played in all nine league games so losing him would have been a huge blow.

But thankfully Demarai Gray’s injury is not severe enough to see him go back to his parent club.

Louie Chandler

It's a huge boost.

Along with Dwight Gayle, Barnes has been the Baggies' standout player this season.

He is a vital cog in their lethal attack and will continue to be.
