Wolves have been the side to watch and indeed beat this year with them playing some brilliant, powerful football in the Championship.

The likes of Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves and Leo Bonatini have all been big hits at the club and now fans want to see the likes of Bonatini signed permanently.

Indeed, they might get their wish with TeamTalk suggesting that Wolves are ready to pay £20m for the forward and so, with that in mind, here's our take on whether that is good value...

Sam Rourke

Lets be honest, it's a hefty price-tag.

But, Bonatini has shown he his capable of scoring goals on a regular basis in the Championship as he currently sits top scorer in the league.

It would be no surprise to see Premier League clubs looking at him, so Wolves will have to pay premium.

But at the age of just 23, Bonatini has a long career ahead, so it looks like it will be money well spent.

Alfie Burns

Absolutely.

Reports suggesting that Wolves are considering a £20m deal for Bonatini to warn off Premier League interest are ridiculous, they shouldn’t be paying that much for the striker.

Bonatini has been excellent this season, and Wolves should certainly look to secure his permanent future, but for the right amount.

Between £5-10m would be reasonable.

Chris Gallagher

Yes, they would be at that figure.

Many reports have suggested Wolves would only have to pay £5m and whilst that would be a bargain, £20m would be overpaying.

You can make the case that many forwards would score regularly in this talented Wolves team and Bonatini also lacks pace and real star quality that you would expect for that price.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but spending £20m on him after just 16 games would be very risky.

Adam Simeoni

Wolves have the money, Bonatini has the goals, so £20 million is a good price in my opinion.

Why would Santo scour Europe for another top striker when he has the best in the division with bags of future potential at his disposal right now?

Sure the fee is steep, but this is modern day football, and £20 million for a 25-30 goal a season striker should be considered a snip.
