Huddersfield Town manager Jan Siewert is starting to work on his Terriers squad, following his side's relegation from the Premier League last season, with Forest Green Rovers midfielder Reece Brown the latest recruit to the John Smith's Stadium, as confirmed on the club website.

Brown arrives in Yorkshire following a fine season at the New Lawn Stadium, scoring 11 goals and recording 11 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.

But will Brown start at Huddersfield next season?

We discuss........

Tommy Joyce

"It's a hard one to call, especially considering there are some players at Huddersfield whose future is still in doubt.

"Billing and Mooy were both well respected in the Premier League, and Hogg is also an important player. So if Huddersfield play three in the centre of the park, it will be hard for him to pip them to a place.

"Although, with the amount of interest in Brown you would assume he had some assurances that he will be playing a lot of the time, as he is no longer a 'young' player at 23.

"Billing and Mooy are both likely to be subjected to transfer offers, so it is very possible that he has been bought to replace one of those two, just before they have left. Billing fell out of favour with Siewert, so it could be him off."

Ben Lang

"I think Huddersfield's side is likely to get a major facelift before the start of next season, which gives Brown every chance of gaining a starting place.

"His form was really impressive at Forest Green last season and, although he may take time to fully adapt to the jump in standard, I think Siewert should use him from the off next season.

"He will provide a certain freshness to the Terriers' side, while his versatility across the midfield means he can potentially be used in various roles by Siewert.

"I also don't think Brown would have made the move if he hadn't received assurances he would be in contention. There was wide interest in him, and he would have been looking for a move with first-team football, so he can continue his development."
