Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is moving quickly, as he attempts to finalise his squad as early as possible this summer as he prepares for life in the Premier League next season.

One positive for Wilder, centres around goalkeeper Dean Henderson, with positive negotiations continuing between the Blades and the 22-year-old's parent club Manchester United, according to The Star.

With this in mind, is it fundamental that the Blades secure this signing this summer? Would it prove to be good business?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Yes, it's a deal that makes complete sense.

"A good young goalkeeper ready for his step up to the Premier League.

"He's a confident boy and fits in well at Sheffield United so I think it's a great signing for the Blades for sure."

Alfie Burns

“Absolutely, that continuity in the defensive setup is going to be massive for the Blades.

“Henderson was a big part of what Wilder’s side did last season and he was a popular figure at Bramall Lane.

“On top of all that, he’s a talented goalkeeper and looks ready for the challenge of a Premier League campaign.”

George Brooks

"Henderson was outstanding for Sheffield United in the Championship this season and he would be an excellent signing for the Blades.

"He probably isn’t going to start for Manchester United ahead of David De Gea or Sergio Romero, but he deserves a chance to prove himself in the Premier League, so a move to Sheffield United would be a good option for the player.

"He has a lot of potential and will no doubt be a top goalkeeper in the Premier League one day."
