Leeds United are reportedly not in talks with PSG owners, Qatar Sports Investments over a potential takeover according to The Independent.

It had previously been reported by French media outlet, L'Equipe, that QSI were weighing up a potential investment opportunity into Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Leeds' current owner, Andrea Radrizzani did meet with QSI's chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi earlier this week, and there were hopes amongst Leeds United fans that the discussions would involve potential investment in the club.

But this latest report suggests that this wasn't the case, and it remains to be seen as to what they were discussing in the meeting.

A partnership between Leeds and PSG hasn't been ruled out though, and it'll certainly be one to keep an eye on heading into the summer.

But how should Leeds fans be feeling about this latest update?

We discuss....

Louie Chandler:

"A bit confused maybe.

"I don't think these negotiations are anything to worry about or get too excited about. Certainly not yet anyway.

"With takeovers and investment news, it is usually best to just wait until an official announcement because there are going to be a lot of different rumours flying around until then."

Kealan Hughes:

"It's a bit of a blow for Leeds fans, who might have got carried away with the news.

"It seems that the club is in need of investment in order to bring in the type of player that will take them to the Premier League, as Radrizzani has previously said the club is facing a difficult summer.

"This takeover had the potential to bring millions to the club. The only positive is that Leeds are stable under Radrizzani, and that is a blessing in itself after what those fans have been through."

Toby Wilding:

"I don't think they'll be too concerned by this.

"Leeds appear to be going in the right direction under Radrizzani, and a change in owners can often rock the boat somewhat at a club, so there may even be a sense of relief.

"There will almost certainly be a sense of intrigue around what talks occurred if not a takeover, and when you look at what QSI have brought PSG, that could evening bring some excitement around the approach Leeds may be set to take going forward."
