Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa heads back to work after the international break, with a real headache following confirmation that Chelsea loan goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has broken his leg in an U23 match and is returning to his parent club as reported on the club's website.

Blackman 25, suffered a fractured tibia in the closing stages of Leeds U23 clash with Birmingham City on Friday afternoon, a match in which Carlos Corberan’s men fell to a 3-0 defeat with Blackman suffering the injury following a collision with City forward Beryly Lubala.

So is the loss of Blackman a huge loss for Leeds?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

It’s potentially a season-defining blow for Leeds.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell hasn’t been in the best of form this season and many fans have rightfully called on Blackman to replace him.

He is yet to be given a fair chance in the starting XI and Marcelo Bielsa will have to rely on the out-of-form Peacock- Farrell for the remainder of the season it seems.

George Harbey

It's a big blow for Leeds.

Okay, he wasn't a first-team regular for the Whites, but it's no secret that Leeds need back-up due to a depleted squad.

This now leaves Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who has looked shaky in recent weeks, as well as youngster Will Huffer - someone like Tom Heaton would now be perfect.

George Dagless

It's a real kick in the teeth.

BPF might well have come out of the side soon given his recent mistakes but he now looks set to continue.

Blackman has had a tough year and didn't deserve such a blow.
