After winning promotion to the Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers will already be looking to strengthen in the summer transfer window.

Nuno Espirito Santo will have his sights set on a number of possible transfer targets as he looks to add quality to his squad and competition for places to keep everyone on their toes.

But it will not only be about bringing in new additions - Wolves also have a number of players who could be axed this summer.

There is a big squad at Molineux and not everyone will be able to cut it at Premier League level.

This could lead to a number of permanent departures - if potential suitors can be found - as well as quite a few loan exits this summer.

Nuno will be running the rule over his squad in pre-season to decide who is good enough for the top flight.

Here are three players that need to be offloaded this summer and upgraded on ahead of Wolves' Premier League campaign.

Norris joined Wolves from Cambridge United in the summer but has hardly had a look in.

With Wolves actively looking for a new goalkeeper, it is time the 24-year-old left for his own sake.

John Ruddy has had a good season between the sticks but ultimately Wolves need him as back-up in the Premier League with a top goalkeeper like Rui Patricio or Jack Butland getting the starting spot.

The vast majority of Jorge Mendes' Portuguese imports have been success stories but Miranda has struggled.

The 27-year-old should be sold this summer at the right price so that Wolves can bring in a new centre-back.

There are a number of centre-halves on Wolves' books but ideally Nuno wants a back three including Conor Coady, Willy Boly (if he signs) and a new addition with the likes of Danny Batth, Kortney Hause, Ryan Bennett and Dominic Iorfa all in reserve.

With Leo Bonatini and Benik Afobe's loan deals coming to an end, Wolves are currently left with just Mason and young duo Rafa Mir and Bright Enobakhare on their books as strikers.

Mason is out on loan in the MLS at the moment and perhaps he can arrange a permanent move to the United States.

Wolves need to flog the 27-year-old and bring in someone like Andre Silva to lead the line next season.
