Leeds United are looking to improve their squad big time this summer after what was a tough 2017/18.

The only good that can really come out of the campaign is surely that they'll have a good idea of what needs improving and they now have the window to do exactly that.

Fans will be waiting eagerly to see what their side can do, then, and it looks as though there are murmurings going around that they'll be happy with.

Whilst we wait to see if they can pull off certain deals, though, let's take a look at three players that the club needs to use the market to upgrade upon...

Cibicki just seems too lightweight to really have an impact on things in the Championship.

Technically there doesn't seem too much wrong with him but he gets knocked off the ball too much and Leeds can't afford as many players as they have to be like that.

It's time to add some steel and grit and Cibicki may well fall foul of that.

Ekuban is a player who works hard and seems to be well-liked in the dressing room but he's a striker that misses chances like few others at this level.

He gets himself in the right areas and then more often than not smashes it at the keeper or over the bar.

A lack of composure is his clear drawback and the Whites need to find someone ice-cool in such situations.

O'Kane seems to be one of the players that gets stick more than most when things go wrong results wise.

He's a decent midfield player but you've got to do more for Leeds and replacing him with someone who brings more goals and assists might be a good idea.

He'll fight for his place, though, and perhaps that might see some fans won back over by him.
