Leeds United secured a much-needed victory on Sunday afternoon, as Thomas Christiansen’s men ran out 2-1 winners over Middlesbrough at Elland Road.

Victory ensured the Whites ended a run of three straight defeats, providing their Danish boss with a much-needed reprieve in the midst of minor uncertainty surrounding his future.

Leeds are now level on points with sixth-placed Boro, but face a tough trip to league leaders Wolves in the week as they look to back up their win with a positive display.

West Yorkshire Sport posed the question to fans on Twitter as to whether the positive result against former boss Garry Monk’s side marked a turning point in their season, with many fans sceptical to brand the three points as this at this early stage.
