With the season's fixtures now officially released, fans up and down the country can start planning their Football League exploits.

For Derby, it marks the start of what is sure to be a very interesting season after coming so close to promotion in 2019.

But with Frank Lampard's future up in the air and the likes of Mason Mount, Harry Wilson and Fikayo Tomori very unlikely to return, it is no guarantee that that success will repeat.

However, one player who is not in the least bit bothered by that right now is versatile midfielder Duane Holmes.

Having graduated through Huddersfield Town's academy, and spent three years in and around the first team, there was not a more appealing opening day clash - and that is exactly what he got.

The Terriers were emphatically relegated from the Premier League last season and will be looking to make a quick start.
