Leeds United's search for a replacement for Paul Heckingbottom is well underway with the club hoping to make an announcement by the end of the week.

That's according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay who added that Marcelo Bielsa remains the frontrunner even but warned that it's 'by no means a done deal'.

The Argentine, who has a superb reputation in the game, emerged as a leading contender for the job and is still the favourite.

The Whites only sacked Paul Heckingbottom on Friday after the former Barnsley boss endured a very tough four months as boss at Elland Road.

He won just four of his 16 games as manager and the side ended up finishing in the bottom half of the table.

Therefore, most fans were happy to see him leave and they were delighted to see Bielsa named as the favourite.

However, the latest update has left some fans worried that the deal for the former Argentina manager might not happen...
