Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder will appreciate the significance of this weekend's clash with Leeds United, with both sides in real promotion contention following impressive starts to the Championship season.

Ahead of the match Wilder needs to decide on the best combination of strikers to play ahead of the game, with all available players making realistic claims for a start.

Leon Clarke got on the scoresheet midweek having come off the bench to score a 72nd-minute winner, so does he deserve to start?

We discuss......

Jay Taylor

I believe if Billy Sharp starts, so should Leon Clarke.

The pair got the Blades up, and they both served the club well last term as they made a dash for the play-offs.

It will be a huge game with bigger implications to the table depending on the result, and it could be a game that Clarke will relish this weekend.

If I were Chris Wilder I would start the striker alongside Sharp.

Gary Hutchinson

Not for me.

Clarke had a decent season last campaign, but this time around he’s been less effective.

One good game doesn’t change that.

I’d go Sharp and Washington.

George Harbey

After his goal, he most certainly does.

Clarke has been trading places with David McGoldrick this season but after his goal against Brentford, I don’t see why not.

It’d be unfair not to play him.
