West Brom's unbeaten start to the season continues, with Slaven Bilic's side currently sixth in the Championship, just three points off leaders Leeds United, ahead of the visit of Huddersfield Town this weekend.

One player who is struggling to make an impact in the Baggies first team is 30-year-old winger Hal Robson-Kanu who has only made two league and two cup appearances so far this season.

So should West Brom look to offload Robson-Kanu in the January transfer window or is he a useful option to have in the squad?

We discuss........

Chris Gallagher

"I don't think for one minute that fans will care if he does go.

"He was a more useful option last season because behind Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez, Albion didn't have much at all.

"Now, with Bilic playing one up front, they usually have Kenneth Zohore as an alternative and out wide they are well-stocked with a good mix of youngsters and proven players.

"So, minutes are going to be very hard to come by for the ex-Wales international and whilst he may do a job if Charlie Austin or Zohore picked up an injury, the reality is that I think Albion can cope regardless.

"In an ideal world, the manager will want him around as backup but if he pushed for a move to get more game time, I don't see the club standing in his way and I don't think it would be a problem."

Louie Chandler

"It'd be rash to get rid of him.

"He should not be starting for the Baggies but he has proved in the past that he can be a very useful players.

"The obvious example is the home clash with Leeds last season where he stepped up and led the line brilliantly.

"Perhaps if an impressive alternative is brought in they could look to get rid, but I think it would be reckless to say so now."

Dean Cooke

"I think West Brom should look to offload the Welshman in January as he clearly isn't going to be part of the core squad at the Hawthorns this season.

"Robson-Kanu is now competing for places either on the wing or at striker and he's far down the pecking order. I can't imagine that he'd be on that small a wage either, so it would make sense for the Baggies to get rid.

"With Slaven Bilic currently playing just one striker in his formation, he seems to rotate between Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore, so it'd be better Robson-Kanu to find a club where he can play."
