Despite a solid first third of the season all is not well at Elland Road with regards to the number one shirt, having lost Jamal Blackman for the remainder of the season with a broken leg, and with question marks over the form of Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Against this back-drop former Leeds player Andy Couzens has told LS11 on YouTube, that Birmingham City keeper David Stockdale would '100 percent' want to join Leeds United in the January transfer window, if an offer came in.

So would Stockdale be a good signing for Leeds?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

He would be a more than astute deputy to the injured Jamal Blackman.

David Stockdale would also add some experience to what was a youthful goalkeeping line-up at Elland Road this season.

The experience would be key to calm the Leeds defence down and reassure them when they are under pressure.

It could well be a shrewd signing should Marcelo Bielsa be inclined to move ahead with any potential deal.

George Harbey

I think, it'd be a shrewd signing.

Stockdale hasn’t had the best of times at Birmingham - typified by a unsuccessful loan move to Southend.

But he was solid in between the sticks for Brighton in their promotion season, and could be a solid addition for Leeds if he recaptures his form.

Louie Chandler

A solid if uninspiring signing.

Stockdale would be good for the rest of the current season but probably not much beyond that.

I would personally like to see them move for a younger shot-stopper.
