Leicester City manager Claude Puel faces competition from Bournemouth if he wishes to make a move for Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill, who has been told by the Robins he can leave this month if the club receive a suitable offer, according to TeamTalk.

The former Manchester United youngster has been in great form for City this season with three goals and two assists in 26 Championship appearances this season.

So would Brownhill be a good signing for Leicester City?

We discuss.....

Alfie Burns

“Absolutely – the progress Brownhill has made in recent years has been superb.

“Over the last 18 months he’s really impressed me and I think he’s deserving of a shot at the Premier League.

“Leicester could be the perfect club for him.”

George Dagless

"I'd be wary if I were Brownhill.

"Claude Puel seems to sign or recall players and then not always give them the chance to shine.

"Look at Harvey Barnes, I fear he might be back on the bench and the Robins have snuck up on the top six - see where this season goes."

Gary Hutchinson

“It'd be a really good move.

“He’s young, ambitious and has quality on the ball.

“His Manchester United pedigree is shining through, but would he play at Leicester?

“Or should he stay put until the end of the season? It think the latter.”

Jay Taylor

“It would be a solid deal for the Premier League side.

“Brownhill has shown he can perform consistently in the Championship and is arguably the one pulling the Robins to where they are in the table right now.

“The 23-year-old is destined for a move to the top flight, but any didn’t expect him to be linked now.

“Time will tell if a move comes off but it would be a great signing for the Foxes and would give them something different in the middle of the pitch they lack, something like an Andy King type player.”
