Swansea City fans will be nervously monitoring the situation at their club with a manager to appoint plus clubs circling looking to relieve the Swans of the best playing talent.

One former Swans player Shefki Kuqi has thrown his hat into the ring to succeed Graham Potter as manager at the Liberty Stadium, as reported on WalesOnline.

So would Kuqi be a good appointment at the Swans?

We discuss........

Louie Chandler

"It'd be a hugely unnecessary risk to save a few quid.

"Swansea are in a very precarious position right now and the appointment of the wrong manager could send them into a relegation scrap.

"I know the club's board are intent on cost-cutting but this is one they cannot afford to skimp on."

Alfie Burns

“I’m really concerned about Swansea’s situation and this next appointment is going to be massive.

“For me, I think that they need to get someone in with experience of the Championship just to steady the ship.

“That’s the reason I’d leave Kuqi alone this summer.”

Ben Lang

"I don't think this is something Swansea would be interested in.

"The club are clearly open to a left-field appointment after Graham Potter's appointment last summer, but Kuqi hasn't delivered enough success in his career to date.

"Although Kuqi knows the club, Swansea will be chasing someone with a better track record."
