Leeds United continue to impress in the Championship this season with Marcelo Bielsa's side consolidating their spot in second place in the Championship table, following the 2-1 victory over QPR at the weekend.

Come the January transfer window though Bielsa is likely to be looking for recruits to sustain their promotion push and could well be back in for Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne, who was on the Elland Road radar back in the summer and who currently plays in Turkey for Kasımpaşa.

But with an asking price of between 15m - 20m euros, would Diagne be good value?

Jacob Potter

It'd be a huge gamble.

Even though Diagne’s goalscoring record is ever so impressive, that certainly is a hefty fee to pay- especially at Championship level.

Leeds could be tempted to make an offer for the in-demand forward if they win promotion to the Premier League, with more funds likely to be available for Marcelo Bielsa.

Alfie Burns

Not for me.

In Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford, you could argue Leeds already have £20m+ of talent in their squad, plus some exciting young talent.

It’d be a complete waste.

Gary Hutchinson

No.

There’s far better out there for that money.

Besides, I can’t see Bielsa spending that on one player, he’s canny with money.

He’s not a ‘big statement signing’ manager.
