Reading manager Jose Gomes has had a busy transfer window, bringing in a number of new faces as he looks to put a run together and pull away from the Championship relegation zone.

Gomes though needs to make a decision on some of the youngsters in his squad and in particular 18-year-old forward Danny Loader, who has made 12 appearances for the first team so far this season.

He has been in and out of the starting XI and a loan move away could be beneficial for the forward in the last few months of the season.

So, should the Royals look to offload him on loan today?

We discuss.....

Sam Rourke

"It'd be a wise move.

"He's looked very raw when he's featured for the Royals first-team this season and a loan move away would benefit him.

"Loader could do a job with a League One or Two team and Gomes should consider it as the deadline approaches."

George Harbey

"It would be the best move.

"The youngster looked to have an important part to play when he was used by Clement, but has since gone off the boil and fallen out of favour.

"A loan move would be beneficial in helping him develop."

Gary Hutchinson

“It wouldn’t hurt the lad to get some more senior football under his belt.

“He’s looked impressive for the Under 23 side and seems to have a bright future.

“Senior football is different though, much tougher and faster.

“I’d have liked to see him out on loan in League Two.”
