West Brom were forced into an FA Cup replay yesterday, further adding games and burden to an already tough period of games in the coming months.

The Baggies are well within the picture for promotion from the Championship, and Darren Moore has done a good job in all honesty at making sure they got some momentum back following last season's relegation.

One of the key men for the Baggies in the opening months of the season was on loan midfielder Harvey Barnes, who was in sensational form for Moore's men before returning to Leicester City.

However, in a sensational twist, it appears West Brom are looking at bringing Barnes back this week, with the Foxes reportedly willing to allow the young midfielder more time out on loan.

With that in mind, we here at FLW had to ponder just how it might impact the title race if Barnes does re-sign for West Brom, and we gathered the thoughts of some of our writers here...

Gary Hutchinson

“I didn’t see this happening!

“It’s a big boost for the Baggies.

“Barnes is some player and his invention has been behind their rise.

“With him back, they’re a better side all round.”

George Harbey

"It would be massive if he came back.
"He’s been absolutely sensational this season and has contributed to plenty of goals that has helped West Brom push up the table.
"I just can’t see it happening, though."
Lee Connor
"It's a massive difference maker if he comes back to be honest, and a bit of a kick in the teeth for the chasing pack.
"Barnes was superb and is a quality player, and he's proven it already.
"If they bring him back, I think a top two spot could be well within their grasp"
