Nottingham Forest sit seven points behind sixth place after their latest defeat against Bristol City on Saturday.

The January market will be key for Mark Warburton if the Reds are to have any chance of making the play-offs and signing a new keeper has to be a priority.

One man who would seemingly be available is Eldin Jakupovic. The former Hull stopper joined Leicester City in the summer but is third choice at the King Power stadium.

However, he excelled with Hull last season and proved a very capable number one. So, should Forest try and bring him across the East Midlands?

We take a look…

Adam Simeoni

Yes, they should.

The goalkeeper performed well for Hull last season, and Forest are certainly in need of an additional shot stopper.

Warburton will explore many options in the new year, and the Leicester man will certainly be on his radar.

George Dagless

Definitely.

Jakupovic was good in the Premier League last season for Hull so could do a great job for Forest.

He'll be hungry to play and has experience in challenging for the top six with the Tigers.

Would be a masterstroke from Warburton.

Alfie Burns

It would be a shrewd move from Warburton.

Jakupovic isn’t getting a chance at Leicester following his summer arrival, and Forest’s need for an experienced goalkeeper is great, which means a move could be well worth a look at.

Whether Forest could pull off any kind of deal remains to be seen, but it is certainly an option the Reds should be exploring.
