Following his return from a serious injury that kept him out for 13 months, Ipswich youngster Andre Dozzell is already in the sights of Arsenal, according to The Mirror, having been tracked by the club before his injury.

Dozzell 19, is an attacking midfielder who made his first appearance in over a year when he came on for the last 14 mins of the Championship loss to Middlebrough last week.

So would Dozzell be a good signing for Arsenal?

The move could be another one where a talented young player moves to a big club and gets lost in the system before several loan moves away ahead of a permanent move to a League One or Two team.

It has that inevitability about it if Dozzell leaves too early. He is only 19-years-old and there is a doubt that he would make it into Arsenal’s first team anytime soon.

It would be a risk for the player;

Gary Hutchinson

I like Dozzell, he’s got flashes of flair and is progressing well.

I wouldn’t even consider leaving Ipswich if I were him.

Five years in Arenal’s reserves, a couple of loans to Bolton before being released?

No future really, is it?

George Harbey

Dozzell is clearly one for the future and this could be a good signing.

Unai Emery is utilising several youth players this season, which bodes well for Dozzell’s future should a move to the Emirates materialise.

Jacob Potter

A fantastic youngster who would deserve a move to a big club like Arsenal, but he will be keen to develop in the senior game and unless he is loaned straight back to Ipswich, he wouldn’t be getting near enough game time for the Gunners.
