With Birmingham City manager Garry Monk preparing for the small matter of the Second City derby, he cannot help but be distracted by report in the Telegraph, that rivals Stoke City are preparing a £5m bid for striker Che Adams.

Adams has been a regular for Monk's side this season, chipping in with eight goals in 17 Championship appearances, but was brought to St Andrew's by Rowett when he was manager there, so could well be keen to tie up with his old boss.

So would Adams be a good signing for Stoke?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

Definitely.

Stoke's striking options have been a huge disappointment so far this season whilst Adams has been brilliant for Birmingham.

His arrival could be what gets Stoke's season back on track.

Jay Taylor

It would be one of the signings of the season, should Stoke pull this potential move off.

Che Adams has formed a stunning partnership with Lukas Jutkiewicz with the pair scoring 17 league goals between them.

If Garry Rowett is able to get this deal over the line, it would make Stoke genuine promotion contenders, such is the ability Adams has in his locker.

George Harbey

It would be a fantastic signing.

Adams is showing exactly what he’s made of this season, and £5million for him would shrewd business from Stoke.

I can’t see Birmingham selling, however.
