Norwich City manager Daniel Farke will not be resting on his laurels, as he looks to prepare his Championship winning side for the challenge of the Premier League next season.

It could be that Farke returns for a player he first considered back in January, after Benfica B decided that young English striker Chris Willock can move in the summer, as per Portuguese outlet A Bola.

Willock, 21, has scored 14 goals in 59 appearances at Benfica B since moving to the Eagles from Arsenal in 2017.

So would Willock be a good signing for the Canaries, if they rekindled their previous interest?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Perhaps.

"The question mark will be whether or not he is good enough for the Canaries in the Premier League.

"Farke has shown he can get the best out of players, though, so you'd expect a similar sort of impact if that move did come about."

George Brooks

"Willock is a promising young player and could be a good signing for Norwich, although I’m not sure they’d be able to guarantee him regular first-team football in the Premier League.

"Willock will probably feel that he has unfinished business in England following his spell with Arsenal and another chance to play in the Premier League may be too good for him to turn down."

Gary Hutchinson

“It would be a clever signing.

“Willock went abroad to try his luck and it hasn’t worked.

“That experience will stand him in good stead though.

“He’s a more experienced and varied player because of his time at Benfica and well worth the risk for Norwich.”
