West Brom manager Darren Moore will be looking from a reaction from players, following back-to-back defeats that have dented the Baggies’ promotion challenge, ahead of the visit of Ipswich Town at the weekend.
Moore has received a boost with the news that 27-year-old winger Matt Phillips has returned from injury and is training with the first team this week, it has been reported in the Express & Star.
So should Phillips go straight back into the starting XI this weekend?
“Surely it’s a no brainer for Moore?
“West Brom were crying out for someone to take the full-back on against Leeds last week and Phillips could have provided that.
“He has to replace Robson-Kanu for this one.”
“I like Phillips, he’s experienced and can make things happen.
“The Baggies are going to finish between third and sixth, so use the time between now and May wisely.”
“It won’t do them any harm.
“West Brom were hammered last time out, and need fresh impetus into the starting XI.
“I think he should come straight back in if you ask me.”
