With the transfer window slowly drawing to a close, we are starting to get a good idea of how the Championship sides will lineup this season.

It is around this sort of time where you can begin to sensibly predict who will be the winners and losers in the division.

At the moment, Stoke City are the favourites to win the title with Sky Bet after their relegation to the second division last season.

Gary Rowett has wasted no time this summer in revamping his squad with six new arrivals including proven Championship talent in the form of Tom Ince and Benik Afobe.

Behind Stoke, Middlesbrough and West Brom are joint third at 8/1 with big spending Nottingham Forest fourth favourites at 9/1 with Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United sitting as fourth favourites along with Swansea City at 11/1.

But who will reign victorious come May and get their hands on the Championship trophy?

We discuss...

George Dagless

I think it'll be Forest.

I know there's the idea that they need time to gel and improve on last season but Wolves managed it fine and I think the Reds will.

The signings they've made they're bound to be up there.

Gary Hutchinson

I think it'll be Nottingham Forest. They've recruited well and with Karanka at the helm, they have a manager who knows what is needed. It will be a big achievement if they do.

Alfie Burns

For me, it will be Stoke City.

The squad Rowett has put together looks really strong and I can’t see anybody stopping them this season.

It might take time for them to adapt to life back in the Championship, but when they get going, they will be a real force.

How long is a piece of string? It is the near impossible question to answer as anything can happen in a division that is ferociously competitive.

You would look at the obvious favourites like West Brom, Stoke, Middlesbrough et al.

It is too hard to call between a cluster of clubs and it’s hard to name one side.

It will be either West Bromwich Albion or Stoke City for me - they have squads that are capable of competing at the top end of the league, especially after their additions this summer.

If I had to go for one I would probably go with Stoke to win it, with West Brom a close second.
