Peterborough United couldn't have left it much later to grab their timely equaliser against Coventry City at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday.

It was a valuable point that ensured the side remained inside the division’s top three places behind only Ipswich Town and Wycombe Wanderers. The side are now just two points away from the league leaders.

Coventry lead in the match on two occasions and must have thought they had won it when Maxime Biamou put the visitors 2-1 ahead in the 85th minute of the match.

And that’s how it stayed, at least up until the fifth minute of added time when Mohamed Eisa’s composed finish sent the Posh support into delirium. It was the strikers 11th goal of the season after having played just 15 matches.

He has been a welcome arrival at the Posh since his move from Championship outfit Bristol City in the summer. Both his recent form and goal-scoring know-how have made him an instant hit with the supporters and it has shown in their response to his latest Tweet.

The post includes two pictures: one capturing the strike, and the other showing the celebrations that followed.

Supporters didn’t mind one bit that the goal came late and responded to commend the finish.
