Birmingham City's slump continued on Sunday as fierce local rivals Aston Villa stole the bragging rights in the Second City derby.

A 1-0 victory at Villa Park was enough to ensure Aston Villa moved back into the top half and Birmingham were left hanging precariously above the drop zone.

Gabby Agbonlahor reacted quickest after a goalmouth scramble to fire in the only goal of the game with just over 20 minutes left on the clock.

After Agbonlahor scored and wheeled off in delight, there was an off the ball incident which the officials failed to spot at the time.

As James Chester ran over to join his delighted team mates, Birmingham defender Paul Robinson appeared to throw a kick and a punch at the Welshman and sent him crashing to the ground.

Robinson's actions were condemned by Aston Villa owner Dr. Tony Xia and the Birmingham centre half has now been charged by the FA.

Here are how Villa fans reacted to this news.
