Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa faces his first big test of the season so far as he looks to continue his side's impressive start, that sees his side unbeaten and setting the pace in the Championship.

The decision by Bielsa to operate with a trimmed down squad seems to be in the spotlight already though, with first choice strikers Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford unavailable due to injury.

So does this lack of striking options highlight a flaw in Bielsa's thinking?

Then again, any team losing their two main strikers would be struggling, irrespective of who the back up is.

The squad is thin, but the injuries are a stroke of bad luck.

Few teams could absorb the hit.

It shows naivety from Bielsa.

The Championship is one of the toughest leagues in the world, it's arduous and unforgiving and teams need to be fully stocked with options.

Injuries and suspensions are inevitable, and I feel Leeds needed to add another striker option in the summer, if this happened.

It’s a coincidence that four players are ruled out all in the same week - it might show that some of his players physically can’t handle the intensity for a prolonged period of time.

It could be a potential flaw, or it might just be purely coincidental.

Either way, Marcelo Bielsa will have players who will be able to slip straight into the injured players' position.
