‘It shows how far this team has come’ – Plenty of QPR fans are loving latest showing after Villa stalemate

QPR kept up their surprise play-off chances as they earned a hard-fought point with a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on New Years Day.

Steve McClaren’s side are just four points adrift of the play-off places, and they will certainly be one of the dark horses for promotion for the rest of the campaign.

Luke Freeman and Ebere Eze were on the scoresheet, whilst Tammy Abraham netted a brace to salvage a point for Dean Smith’s side.

It was certainly a well-deserved point as QPR showed their defensive resilience to keep Villa at bay for large parts of the game.

The Hoops are now unbeaten in their last five league games, and they will be hoping to take their good league form into the FA Cup next weekend when they host league-leaders, Leeds United at Loftus Road.

But how did QPR supporters react to their latest showing against Aston Villa?
