Mark Warburton will be looking to pick up his second league win of the season for QPR this evening as the R's play host to Preston North End.

One key dilemma for Warburton ahead of tonight's fixture will be whether to hand Albert Adomah his first start since arriving at the club, with the winger coming off the bench in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Bournemouth.

So, what should Warburton do here, is tonight an opportunity for Adomah to start or should he be retained on the bench?

There's a case for him starting for sure.

We're at a period in the season where rotation is going to be key and they are going to have to manage players' minutes accordingly.

With that said, Adomah could well come in from the start to give someone else a rest but I personally think we might see him remain on the bench for now.

He needs to work up match fitness and a lot of the players at the club are ahead of him in that sense so, whilst it wouldn't be the biggest surprise in the world if we see him start, Warburton may decide to be cautious with him.

Mark Warburton is going to have to make at least one change from Saturday's draw at Bournemouth after the injury to Luke Amos, and starting Albert Adomah should come into his thinking.

QPR have struggled in front of goal this term and although Adomah's only appearance this season was at the weekend, he could provide that create spark and bit of extra pace that has been missing in recent weeks.

Adomah hasn't scored since August 2019, so he'll be desperate to end that miserable run and make an instant impression on Warburton.

I think he's worth a start for the Hoops.

QPR have struggled for creativity at times in their team since Ebere Eze left the club in favour of a move to Crystal Palace.

Adomah looked bright off the substitutes bench against Bournemouth at the weekend though, and is surely worth a start against Preston North End.

His pace could cause Alex Neil's side a number of problems, and he'll be eager to force his way into the starting XI on a regular basis at the earliest of opportunities.

I think it's the perfect match to hand him a start, and it wouldn't surprise me if Mark Warburton replaced Ilias Chair for Adomah on Wednesday evening.

It should be a no-brainer for the QPR boss.
