Derby County head back into Championship action this weekend, looking to erase the memory of the 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa they suffered going into the international break.

The Rams' opponents are struggling Sheffield Wednesday, who managed to steal a draw in the Steel City derby a fortnight ago.

But with all Derby's injury concerns, is this a good time for the Owls to be playing them?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

Potentially.

Derby still have a good team but they are going to be that bit weaker.

Wednesday will look to build on their draw at Bramall Lane and have a chance to do just that.

This could be the ideal time for Sheffield Wednesday to pick up their first win in five matches.

With Derby having a few injury troubles, they will be forced to make changes and alter a side that have been in decent form.

Changes in personnel mean that familiarity in a match situation will be lower than it previously was.

And with the Owls needing a win desperately, facing a much-changed Rams side could be the fixture they finally pick up a win.

It probably is, but it won't be easy.

We all know how good the Rams can be on their day and if they are on song, Luhukay's men could be in for a long afternoon.

Still, this is an opportunity for the Owls to capitalise on Derby's injury troubles and come away with a point at the very least.
