Millwall will be looking to put last weekend’s shocker of a performance and result behind them as they face a daunting trip to take on Norwich City tomorrow.

Neil Harris’ men travel to Carrow Road looking to get over their 2-0 defeat to Brentford last Saturday in what was an abject performance against a Bees side that hadn’t won in nine.

This is the final fixture before the last international break of the calendar year and with two weeks to dwell on whatever result may arise from the fixture, Harris will be hoping it will be a positive one to build on going into the fortnight’s rest period.

The Lions boss has said there will be no knee-jerk team selection after the loss as one of the nominees for the October Manager of the Month award in the Sky Bet Championship tries to mastermind a win over the second-placed canaries.

With that said, here’s the Millwall XI it looks like it’ll be to take on Norwich City at Carrow Road tomorrow afternoon.

Sure to retain his place in goal once more heading into the break despite Jordan Archer pushing for his first start since August 26.

It looks like Ben Amos will keep his place in goal once more this weekend.

Mahlon Romeo had a torrid time of it last week in the defeat to Brentford.

Not offered enough protection from his right-midfield teammate, he was exposed and quickly taken apart by Said Benrahma.

And with that, Neil Harris might opt for a more defensively sound option for what is going to be a tough test against Norwich this weekend.

The Lions’ vice-captain has made a difference since his return and despite the whole side being poor last week against Brentford, there is no reason why the defender will not play this weekend.

The perfect partner to Shaun Hutchinson and one of the main men to start a Millwall attack, the first-choice defender is undoubtedly looking like starting this weekend.

He has impressed at left-back the last two matches and was one of the only ones to come out with any credit in the defeat to Brentford last time out.

Having missed the win over Ipswich, he was back on the bench for the Brentford loss.

He came on and was ineffective, but despite that, he is a better option to Jiri Skalak who should make way for his fellow team-mate to start.

Having had a decent game last week despite the defeat, his performance was some way off what Millwall supporters have been accustomed to since he joined.

Saturday is the best game possible for the former Blades man to put in a shift in and put in a much-improved performance.

Last week he was some way off the pace, and that will hurt the Millwall man, and it is likely he will get the chance to put things right this weekend when he starts against Norwich.

He has been one of Millwall’s better players in the last month, and despite a placid display against the Bees last weekend, it looks like he could well start against this week heading into the international break.

Having missed out on starting to Tom Elliott the last few games, the Millwall captain looks like he might well start this week.

Elliott was one of the weaker performers last week, and that is saying something, so expect Steve Morison to be restored to the starting line up.

Lee Gregory has been in phenomenal form, but he looked tired and leggy at Brentford and unable to put in the type of shift he has done all season.

Fresh legs might be needed, and the pacy Tom Bradshaw looks like he could well be given more than 15 minutes tomorrow afternoon.
