Leeds United have enjoyed a cracking start to the season that see's them sitting top of the Championship, with Marcelo Bielsa's men unbeaten so far.

But as the YEP's Phil Hay has confirmed, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper both a doubt for the match against Norwich at the weekend could cracks be starting to show in the stream-lined Elland Road squad? Is this worrying for Leeds?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

Yes, they’re short at the back and those two are the best central defenders on their books.

The depth of the squad was always going to be questioned and now there’s an early test.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Foyth brought in before the match.

Bielsa does need to strengthen and this is proof.

Jay Williams

I am still unsure why Marcelo Bielsa does not believe signing a centre-half on loan is a priority.

Without their first-choice pairing, they have to play two natural right-backs in the middle in Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi and Oli McBurnie caused them many problems in midweek with his height and physicality.

It also means Jamie Shackleton has to play at right-back, even though he is more naturally suited to playing in central midfield.

Signing a centre-half, like Juan Foyth or Cameron Carter-Vickers, would ease their problems.

George Dagless

It is worrying.

Their makeshift defence at Swansea had problems and Norwich seem able to score goals at the moment.

Jordan Rhodes' movement could cause them real problems this weekend.
