Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton will already have his sights set on next season after successfully guiding his team to Championship safety on Sunday.

Working with the experienced Director of Football Frank McParland, Warburton has a tremendous opportunity to bring the good times back to the City Ground if they can both bring in the right additions this summer.

One department that the former Brentford boss will be keen to bolster is his midfield and former midfielder Adlene Guedioura is one player that they should certainly take a look at.

The Algerian international was a fan favourite during his time with the East Midlands club and he has struggled to make a name for himself in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, Watford and now Middlesborough.

Boro signed the 850k-rated midfielder in the January transfer window and after their recent relegation from the Premier League, Guedioura could have some more playing time on the horizon.

However, if Forest are to make a statement then they should go all out to sign the 31-year-old who is an outstanding player at Championship level.

Guedioura undoubtedly still cares about the club after his recent tweet where he congratulated The Reds after they stayed up on the final day of the season, and there can be no denying that he would be welcomed back on Trentside with open arms.

Nottingham Forest fans... Would you like to see Guedioura back playing in the Garibaldi red? Who else do you think you should sign this summer? Are you excited about next season under Mark Warburton? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
