Norwich City are flying high in the Championship under manager Daniel Farke, but it would seem that Portuguese striker Nelson Oliveira is not in Farke's plans, if reports in Turkish publication Foto Spor are to be believed.

According to the report, Norwich City are in discussions with Besiktas over the sale of the out of favour striker Oliveira, with Besiktas seeking to loan the player for an initial six months before signing him permanently in the summer.

So is the sale of Oliveira good news for Norwich?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

He’s clearly out in the cold so sure, why not.

It’s a shame as I’m sure there’s a decent player there but right now they’re not in dire need of anyone.

There will be a fee too which will help in January.

George Harbey

It is good news for Norwich.

Things just never worked out for Oliveira at Norwich, which is a shame as he can be a decent goalscorer on his day.

The boost for Norwich is that he’s likely to be on high wages, so at least some funds will be freed up for January.

Jay Taylor

He has been a total ghost at Norwich this season so I would not be surprised if the fans forgot he was even there!

It is a good move for everyone and will end his Carrow Road hell under Daniel Farke.

As good a news as it probably is for him and Norwich, it is even better news for Nelson Oliveira now that he will get a fresh start at a club that wants him.
