Last season was an incredibly underwhelming one for fans of Norwich City with the club stuttering to a mediocre 14th place finish.

One of their biggest problem areas was their lack of goals with the Canaries managing just 49 all season, one of the fourth lowest of the non-relegated sides.

Daniel Farke has clearly acknowledged this as well, having brought in Teemu Pukki from Brondby and Jordan Rhodes from Sheffield Wednesday to bolster his lacklustre attack.

James Maddison comfortably finished as the club's top scorer last season scoring 14 goals from midfield, but with him making the move to Leicester City, they are goals that will need replacing.

With the next highest scorer only bagging eight (Nelson Olivera), it was clearly an area that needed bolstering for a long time.

So can Pukki and Rhodes form a fruitful partnership for the Canaries next season?

We discuss...

Louie Chandler

With Rhodes coming in off the back of a poor season and Pukki out of English match practice it is far from a guarantee.

But both have shown their goalscoring prowess in the past, with Rhodes especially proving lethal in the Championship so it could prove a lethal duo yet.

Sam Rourke

There is every chance they could excel together.

This is the perfect platform for Rhodes to revitalise his career, and with Pukki by his side, they can form quite the partnership.

It still remains to be seen whether Farke will utilise them as a front two, but it certainly is worth a try.

Jay Williams

If Pukki takes to English football quickly and Rhodes rediscovers his goal scoring touch, they could be one of the deadliest strike pairs in the division.

Everyone knows what Rhodes is capable of at this level and Norwich could be the fresh break and new environment he needs.

Pukki will be hoping his time at Celtic stands him in good stead to be able to thrive in the Championship.

Gary Hutchinson

Absolutely and it is just what Norwich need.

I cannot understand how Rhodes failed at Sheffield Wednesday, he's the perfect player for Pukki to feed off and he could be the most astute piece of business anyone does in the Championship this summer.
