Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will know he needs to recruit in the January transfer window, if he is to maintain his side's promotion challenge as the reality of operating with a small squad takes it's toll.

A player who could be on Bielsa's radar, is 23-year-old Swansea full-back Connor Roberts who looks like he wants away from the Liberty Stadium, a year after making his debut, according to The Sun.

So should Bielsa make a move for Roberts?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

It is certainly a move to look at.

Connor Roberts has started all 17 games for the Swans this season and is out of contract in the summer, and with no signs of a new deal forthcoming, as of yet, it could be the perfect time for Leeds to swoop in and get a cut-price deal in the new year.

At present, Leeds have a better chance of making it to the Premier League than Swansea and when January rolls around, it might be a case of when not if Roberts leaves the Liberty Stadium.

Gary Hutchinson

Not for me.

They need to base their recruitment around direct needs and clever scouting.

Just because a player might be free isn’t the right way to go about it.

Buy who you want and need, not who is available at the time.

George Harbey

Absolutely.

Roberts is a very talented player who would give Ayling some real completion, albeit when he comes back from injury.

Leeds should take advantage...
