It is hard to see how West Brom's season will go once we are ready for kick-off in the 2019/20 season.

Over three months since Darren Moore was sacked as the club's manager and the Baggies are still yet to hire a replacement, with Jimmy Shan seeing out the season and the play-off failure.

But it does sound like progress is being made in that department.

The Express and Star reported on Thursday that the club intend to have a new boss appointed by the start of pre-season with Wolfsburg manager Bruno Labbadia the latest to be interviewed for the role.

But who should they give the job to?

We discuss...

Toby Wilding

"I think they should be pushing hard for Chris Hughton.

"The former Brighton boss has all the credentials West Brom need, having experience in both getting teams promoted and keeping them up in the Premier League.

"If they can't get Hughton, then another target, Bruno Labbadia, would not be a bad option given his recent success in Germanny with Wolfsburg."

George Harbey

"Bruno Labbadia looks to be a really exciting appointment.

"He’s guided Wolfsburg into the Europa League, and clearly has decent pedigree having managed one of Bundesliga’s best teams.

"The likes of Daniel Farke, Daniel Stendel and David Wagner have all been real successes in the EFL, and Labbadia could be the next."

Louie Chandler

"I like the sound of Labbadia.

"I can understand how the likes of Hughton could attract attention but given the fans' desire to see some attractive football, this would be the better route to follow.

"It may be more of a risk but I think it is a risk worth taking."
