It is one of the big transfer stories of the summer, certainly in the Championship. Will Matej Vydra move to Leeds United, sparking a flurry of related transfers to go through?

All summer eyes have been on Pride Park and Elland Road, looking for any indication of what might be happening. Recently, Vydra was left out of Derby's pre-season trip to Tenerife, sparking hope the deal might finally go through.

Now, five days into July and just over a month ahead of the big kick-off, there's still no solid news as to exactly what the situation is.

Should Leeds United fans panic over the lack of progress? The FLW team discuss...

Jay Williams

I still think Leeds will land him but the fear is that they've put all their eggs in one basket with this one.

If they fail to strike a deal now, it looks unlikely that they will land Abel Hernandez.

So Leeds just need to thrash out a deal before they start missing out on other potential targets.

George Dagless

It is a concern.

Personally, I still think it'll go through eventually but I do understand that there's frustration around it.

Leeds were expecting a flurry of deals once Bielsa arrived - that has not happened.

Alfie Burns

It’s a big deal, so you’d expect it to take time.

However, we are getting to a stage of the summer where Leeds need to start getting some players through the door.

It’s time to wrap up Vydra’s signature or move on.

Chris Gallagher

I wouldn't be worried yet.

These things can take time and whilst Leeds fans will be desperate for it to be finalised, they seem to be the clear favourites to land him.
