Aston Villa play host to play-off chasers Preston North End at Villa Park tonight, in what looks set to be an interesting match-up between the two sides.

Villans boss Steve Bruce has some dilemmas when it comes to his starting eleven, and one decision will be whether to issue a start to loanee striker Lewis Grabban.

Should Bruce issue him a start?

We discuss....

Sam Preston

It could be time for Bruce to shake things up.

However, I would stick with Scott Hogan. He's been on good form and Villa are trying to adjust to two enforced changes already as Albert Adomah and Jack Grealish have picked up injuries.

I am a great believer in not making more changes than you need to, especially when you're coming off the back of a defeat.

George Dagless

It could be time for him to start.

Though Scott Hogan has obviously improved he's not scored in a couple of games and Villa might be wise in beginning to rotate.

Competition for places is going to be vital and Grabban might just warrant a start.

Chris Gallagher

It's something for Bruce to consider but I'd play him with Scott Hogan.

Villa looked toothless at Fulham and it was understandable because Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah were absent.

Whilst Grealish could return tonight, a front two would give Villa more cutting edge. They need to start on the front foot and Grabban would help with that.

Alfie Burns

There will be a temptation to throw Grabban in from the start tonight, but if I were Bruce, I’d stick with Scott Hogan.

Hogan has spearheaded Villa’s attack in their most impressive run of form this season, and faith should be kept with him despite the defeat to Fulham.

There is the possibility we could see Grabban and Hogan partnered in attack, but it would be a bold move from Bruce to move away from a five-man midfield.
