It looks like the transfer business is not over yet at Nottingham Forest despite the mass recruitment over the summer, with the alleged signing of free-agent and Iranian international Karim Ansarifard according to IRNA.

The 23-year-old forward would be joining a side overflowing with attacking options with the move likely to push players like 30-year-old Algerian striker Hillal Soudani. even further down the pecking order.

So would the move spell bad news for Soudani?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

It’s bad news for anyone with an ounce of respect left for Aitor Karanka.

I was a big advocate of his in the summer, but it is getting beyond a joke now.

How many players does he need? Is he already replacing his own summer targets?

I’m no longer convinced he’s the right man for Forest.

Jay Taylor

Didn’t be only just sign for the club?

It is getting a little ridiculous at Nottingham Forest with the number of singings and the continued interest in players.

The scattergun approach that Aitor Karanka is adopting surely isn’t going end well.

Hillal Soudani was one of the early additions so he could be wondering what is going on and if he is going to play much more this season.

George Dagless

It could be bad news.

It's another signing in an area that the Reds are well stocked in.

They haven't scored many goals but why not work on all the new faces and finding a system to work together instead of adding another player?

It's a strange approach.
