Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis will be concerned by a report at the weekend linking Liverpool with 21-year-old Boro defender Dael Fry according to the Sunday Express (18th November, Page 41).

Fry has played regularly for Pulis this season, but the news that Liverpool have compiled a dossier on the player and have watched Middlesbrough at least six times recently will be a worry for the Riverside faithful.

Clearly, the Reds are hot on the defender with him proving a classy player that can bring the ball out from the back.

So would Fry be a good signing for Liverpool?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

He would be one for the future.

Jurgen Klopp seems to be getting the best out of the best young English talent and I can see fry flourishing under his guidance for years to come.

Fry would add to some already impressive depth for Liverpool in defence and he would be worth the hefty price tag he could potentially cost.

George Harbey

It could be a great signing for Liverpool.

Fry is only young but has still played an integral role in a Boro defence that has an exceptional record this season - conceding only 8 goals in 17 games.

It would be a huge blow for Pulis to lose him.

George Dagless

It's an eye-catching potential move.

Look at Joe Gomez and his improvement at Anfield in recent seasons.

Fry is a fine young defender and could undergo a similar transformation as the former Charlton man.
