Blackburn Rovers have made a solid start on their return to the Championship, with Tony Mowbray's side in 10th place in the table just five points off the play-off places.

But in a highly competitive Championship this season, Rovers face a tough December with a series of matches against Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Norwich City, Leeds United and Sheffield United.

So will December "make or break" Blackburn's season?

We discuss.....

George Harbey

It certainly is.

Blackburn have emerged as unlikely playoff contenders following their promotion from League One last term, and if they can pick up 9 points out the next five games then I reckon they’ll be well up there come the end of the season.

They need to be careful, however.

Jacob Potter

It certainly is make or break.

They’ve got a tough run of fixtures and we will really see what Tony Mowbray’s side are about in terms of their top six ambitions.

If they want to finish in the top six, then they will have to be beating the teams around them to justify any sort of promotion chances they have.

Louie Chandler

It certainly looks that way.

Blackburn are in limbo a bit. Their season could still be a huge success and coming through the Christmas period relatively unscathed could turn them into a top-six side.

At the same time, it could kill any chance they have.
