With everything up in the air following the sacking of Steve Bruce at Aston Villa, all the players' futures are up in the air as they wait to see who the board appoint as Bruce's replacement.

For the fringe players and youngsters, it is even more important, as without any real game time under their belts they do not have to opportunity to impress a new incoming boss.

Young forward Callum O'Hare falls into that category with only a handful of U23 matches under his belt for Villa this season, so will the 20-year-old have the chance to flourish at Villa Park?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

It all depends on the new manager.

He might come in and disregard Callum O’Hare totally and he could be loaned out or sold in January.

On the other hand, the new boss could come in and think he is going to be an important part of the team.

It remains to be seen if he has a big future at Villa, and that comes down to the next appointment they make as their first-team manager

Gary Hutchinson

He should have, but it is hard to tell right now.

We don’t know who the manager is going to be, so we don’t know his philosophy or approach.

If he trusts youth, yes.

If he doesn’t, someone else will benefit.

George Dagless

It's in the balance.

I think he is a good player and he deserves a chance but it seems as though he's got a few players above him in the pecking order.

The new manager might change that, though, and so hopefully he'll get a chance.

Jacob Potter

He made four first-team appearances last season and has given Villa fans a glimpse of his potential.

With Villa waiting to fill their managerial vacancy, it is crucial that the right name is brought in and if the new boss is willing to play youth more often than Steve Bruce was, then O’Hare will be one of the youngsters that could thrive playing regular first-team football.
