‘Isn’t motivated in the same way as most’ – These Leeds United fans brush off claims of Bielsa to Arsenal

Robbie Savage has touted Marcelo Bielsa as an outside candidate for the vacant Arsenal position, following the dismissal of Unai Emery.

Arsenal are managerless following the sacking of Unai Emery after 18 months in charge, who was given the task of replacing legend Arsene Wenger, obviously not an easy task.

The sacking comes amid a run of eight games without a win for the Gunners, with their last victory in all competitions coming in late October and their last league win coming at the start of that month.

Meanwhile, in the Championship, Marcelo Bielsa is turning heads in the footballing world as his transformation of an underwhelming Leeds squad over the last 18 months has put them in a firm place to finally gain promotion to the Premier League.

It is obvious that the Argentine’s work at Leeds will turn the heads of Premier League clubs in need of a new manager, especially a manager with such a colourful CV such as his own. Where there are clubs needing managers, there will be people touting manager for the role, to which Bielsa has become a regular mention. Speaking on BBC 5 Live, Robbie Savage claimed Marcelo Bielsa should be an outside candidate for the Arsenal job to replace Unai Emery.

While there was no chance for Leeds fans to give Savage an earful on the show, there are still a group who have voiced their opinion on Twitter when the question emerging via LUTV presenter Emma Louise Jones.

Here, we take a look at some of the responses from fans about the possibility (or lack of) of Bielsa going to Arsenal…
