Sunderland have reportedly extended season ticket renewal dates but remain silent over refunds for the 2019/20 season, which has drawn an interesting response from many fans of the North East club.

It has been two months since the EFL season was suspended and it seems as if a decision may be made soon over the conclusion of the 2019/20 campaign.

The government revealed earlier this week that professional sport could return behind closed doors from the start of June and the EFL has held crunch talks over the last few days.

The government's update indicates that should the 2019/20 campaign be completed on the pitch, fans are very unlikely to be able to attend any of the games.

Despite that reveal, Sunderland are yet to provide an update on season ticket refunds for fans, though renewal dates have been pushed back once again.

According to Phil Smith from the Sunderland Echo, the club is waiting until they know more about the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

They may find that out soon as The Athletic has reported that the EFL is set to bring an early end to the League One and League Two seasons this week.

Can you remember which Sunderland manager signed each of these 15 players? Have a go now!

The latest update on season tickets does not appear to have reassured fans, with many taking to Twitter to voice their thoughts.
