Bradford are attracting varied interest in their hunt for a new manager.
Simon Grayson left the club at the end of the season after coming in on a short-term contract. He was offered a longer contract, but turned it down with his tenure not being full of success.
The 48-year-old replaced Stuart McCall who left the club in sixth place, when he was sacked, but they were 13 points away from the automatic promotion spots. Grayson was unable to improve on that and they actually slid down the table with him in charge to an 11th placed finish. They only had two wins in their last nine games.
The search for a new manager is extensive because the Bantams are hoping to challenge for the play-offs again after finishing in those positions the previous two seasons before last, although they were unable to get past Millwall on both occasions. Candidates such as Mark Warburton and Ian Cathro were mentioned as being interested in the job in the article that sparked these reactions, so exciting times could be ahead for Bantams fans.
This is the tweet from Telegraph & Argus chief sports writer Simon Parker which provided details on the managerial search:

Here’s how Bradford fans reacted:
I think that’s fair enough. At least they’re brave enough to say that’s what they want and that they will get a head coach in with the same vision

well I like what ER has said, and i find it quite exciting about using youth when we have the likes of Robinson & Gibson who for me should be starting and given the chance to get some more experience, P.S If @MarkWarburton9 takes charge I will be very very very happy #bcafc

This is the "we learn from our mistake " yet we carry on with what we are doing . Not investing any money in transfer trying to build up the youth and sell them on . It's a business to them . Where is the ambition ?? In was trying to remain positive but not working

Not really sure where some of the criticism of this is coming from. Think he speaks well here. Didn't hear too much criticism prior to January when the vision was working well…

Exactly what I expected, & is consistent with what the owners said at the outset, no change there then. So, what are the "lessons" which "have been learnt", & what was the "situation" Rupp & players referred to? #bcafc

Managing expectations for what lays ahead at #bcafc over the summer.

Is this guy for real? “Yeah so I want us to be in the championship but we need to do it with youngsters because I haven’t any money” unusual model for league 1 – yeah Edin because it doesn’t work!!
