Bradford are attracting varied interest in their hunt for a new manager.

Simon Grayson left the club at the end of the season after coming in on a short-term contract. He was offered a longer contract, but turned it down with his tenure not being full of success.

The 48-year-old replaced Stuart McCall who left the club in sixth place, when he was sacked, but they were 13 points away from the automatic promotion spots. Grayson was unable to improve on that and they actually slid down the table with him in charge to an 11th placed finish. They only had two wins in their last nine games.

The search for a new manager is extensive because the Bantams are hoping to challenge for the play-offs again after finishing in those positions the previous two seasons before last, although they were unable to get past Millwall on both occasions. Candidates such as Mark Warburton and Ian Cathro were mentioned as being interested in the job in the article that sparked these reactions, so exciting times could be ahead for Bantams fans.
